DEAD BODY MANAGEMENT (PENGURUSAN JENAZAH)

On 29 March 2008, Nursing Student Association (NUSA) successfully held an Islamic Program called ‘Pengurusan Jenazah’. This program was held in a day from 8.30 am until 1.30 pm at Kolej Beringin. Some of the purposes of this program are to give knowledge on how to improve your skill to manage of the dead body in Islamic way and show that Islam has the proper way to manage the dead body. This program is participating by some student of Health Sciences Faculty which is Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology and Physiotherapy.

NUSA had invited lecturer from CITU which is Ustaz Johari Budin and Ustazah Wan Razifah to give talk and practice about management of the dead body. This programme divides into three phase, 1) The Theory ; include all the aspect of dead body management (Cleaning,Wrapping and Burying). 2)The practices, all participants being showed how to manage the dead body using a dummy, then 3) The Q&A phase, participant were given chances to question further more and get a better explanation and understanding.
